The Blue Lake

From the refuge, walk up towards the middle station of the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Go and stay left as you approach it, more or less on the level by the path that turns below the refreshment bar. After a small flat, the path turns left then curves between grass terraces and granite zones. The lake appears at the last moment.
Surrounded by its tangled rock falls, the transparency of the water is surprising and the reflection of the Aiguilles de Chamonix magnificent!
Ideal walk for children of all ages.
